Surface Preparation
 Remove any/all loose, flaking, paint and ensure the surface is free from dust and all other contaminants, prior to the application.
 Prime all surfaces with Activator for protection against alkali and staining from the substrate and allow the primer to dry completely before application of product.

Mixing
 Empty the dry contents from the plastic bag into a plastic tub/bucket.
 In a separate container, mix the contents of the emulsion sachet with the amount of water specified on the bag of Fibrecote.
 Add this liquid to the dry material (point 1 above) and ‘knead’ well until the mixture is evenly mixed and absent of lumps.
 Allow the mixed material to stand for 20 minutes before applying.
 To avoid colour variances, always add new material to the existing mix until the application is complete.

Application
 Apply the Activator Primer, using a brush or roller and allow this to dry completely.
 Using a plastic trowel, apply the mixed material as thin as possible, whilst ensuring that the sub-straight is completely covered. Apply continuously from one architectural feature to another, keeping a wet edge at all times.
Sealing

Application of sealer, will enable wiping of the surface with a damp cloth.
